Dr. Starkey is a Connecticut native. He attended the University of Connecticut, graduated with a degree in molecular biology, and went on to get his medical degree at UCONN. He completed his residency in primary care internal medicine at UCONN.
Dr. Starkey is interested in all aspects of internal medicine. He has been part of Starling, formerly known as Connecticut Multispecialty Group, since 2003.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Starkey is committed to helping patients stay healthy. He launched the cosmetics practice in Enfield in order to provide services to help people look as good as they feel. His goal is to enable people to project youthfulness and remain young at heart. He has invested in the newest technology and medical staff to ensure that patients receive cosmetic treatments that are safe, effective, and delivered in a personalized manner.
Our nurse, Monica Ferreira, has over ten years of surgical experience. In her nursing career, Monica has had the opportunity to work among some of the best plastic & reconstructive surgeons in New England. Monica assists with all aspects of the practice and brings a wealth of knowledge to maximize client satisfaction. Monica is dually certified and holds additional certification in advanced facial aesthetics. Monica is looking forward to expanding the services offered within Enfield to enhance optimal skin beauty and health. In her spare time, Monica enjoys relaxing at the lake and spending time with her family.
Our office administrator, Rebecca, holds a bachelor’s degree in professional communications with a minor in media theory & production. Before coming to Aesthetics, Rebecca worked as a medical assistant and patient services representative. She also has years of business management experience under her belt, including customer service, scheduling, marketing, sales, and operations. She is excited to bring her specific skill set to Starling Aesthetics with a focus on marketing and business development. Rebecca, an advocate for mental health and well-being, is excited to dive into the world of all things Aesthetics as it is a reminder that you should take time for yourself no matter how chaotic life may get. In her spare time she enjoys adventuring outside and hanging out with her cats.
